I think there is a size of Christmas light socket that would be a pretty close match for 20GA if used with an undersize bulb. There’s another one out there that often has a flare on it that *might* work with 12GA, but I make no guarantees.

I’m still trying to find shotgun shell seeds, I hate digging.

What if you made a wax slug with christmas lights?

Not American. No hunting trophies or stuffed deer over the fireplace.

Power grows from the barrel of a gun. Also poppies, apparently.

The Big-Mouth Billy Bass is in the entrance hall to irritate people when they come in.

And there’s no truck with a gun rack. Or Walmart.

That would definitely sell in my town.

They exist. Or if you’re an enterprising redneck with a surplus of empty shotgun shells (like me) you make your own (current project...)

if you take your empties and pinch the crimps back inwards (it’s hard to by hand, if you have a press it’s very easy) you can just slip them over the light and the crimp will keep it on.

I was thinking on the basis of slip on/slip off for replacing bulbs, but partial recrimp *would* totally work.

Push that box any closer to the fire and you sure as hell would celebrate with a blast (if they were real shells ya kno....)

You could cut the shotgun shell off, replace the bulb, and slip a new one on.
